Reasons to be cheerful

As we head towards Friday, I thought maybe we could do with an antidote to the tiny grumbles thread.
So: small things that cheer you up, make you smile or are generally Good.
Whiskers on kittens, warm woollen mittens, Harpo, Groucho, Chico, John Coltrane's soprano, that sort of thing. -
1. Daytime naps.

I love cycling in the rain. There's just nothing like it.

There are loads of people that I don't like that are now dead.
Every day I wake up and they're still dead. Any time I'm feeling down I remind myself that they're dead."..the pseudo-Left new style.." -
I look quite nice clothed or nude.
I am rarely wrong about anything important.
I don't have kids. -
4. I've taken everything but Dylan off my mp3 player and will be listening to all his albums in order, plus the Official Bootleg series. I probably won't be quite as cheerful when I reach the wilderness years, but I'm in a very good mood about the whole thing.

You live in a developed-enough country to have internet access and an interest in vidyagames, so it's really very unlikely that you have to walk several miles to collect drinking water, or are starving to death, or have to deal with nasty diseases that should be easily dealt with in this day and age.
